Hey Jacob,
I love your music…….and I was very glad to find your course that shares so much valuable information on how to make productions better. I have been writing for years, but only just started recording my own compositions using Logic ProX; and recently released my music on social media. I greatly appreciate your thorough approach to each section you offer; and your teaching style is very calming and never rushed. You are an excellent coach! I plan to go through your course again and again for inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing your expertise! I highly recommend your course and hope more people can discover it.
Very best wishes to you Jacob!
Fantastic course! Jacob is a really good instructor, and his course is very engaging, easy to comprehend, and well-structured. Watching the course helped me improve my recording techniques and think about piano production differently. If you are hoping to learn how to record piano and mix it in a studio environment, this is a fantastic course for you! I highly recommend this one. Cheers!
Hi Jacob,
I am enjoying your course. Haven’t completed it yet, but still ongoing. I am a retired IT professional that has insatiable appetite for piano and love to improvise 🙂 I watch your youtube videos often and wondered how you made your compositions sound that great. Then I visited your site to find this production course and took it.
Excellent work, I must admit. Will ask you for help in case I need it. Keep up the great work.
I feel extremely grateful for the opportunity to take this course and learn the best methods to record high-quality piano covers. I’d even say it was a life-changing decision for me! Now I am finally recording my music! I broke the ice, overcame my fears, and finally started moving towards my goals! Here are the examples of my work, just to demonstrate what I achieved after this course
This course is a one-stop place where Jakob gathered all the necessary information to know in order to create perfect piano covers. Can’t recommend it enough. And it’s not only words, it’s honest feedback from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU!!!
This course is flat out amazing. To be fair, I will end up leaving two reviews as I’ve only been able to work through the first half of the course thus far. A little about myself… I started playing piano by ear when I was 9 years old. My parents saw that I had an aptitude for the instrument and got me involved in lessons. I was classically trained for the next 7 years. I was forced to stop lessons at that time due to some family issues but made it a priority to keep working on the piano in my off time. At 40, I would not call myself an accomplished pianist or musician. I do know what I am doing however. As I’ve gotten further along, I have become more interested in recording and layering of sounds. I have tried diligently to figure this part out on my own and have been met with abject failure. It’s not that I lack the equipment, software, or talent. I just didn’t know how to put it all together. I ran across Jacob via YouTube. He’d done a cover for a piece I had learned and really respected. His cover was spot on. I emailed him and asked him for some guidance (not really expecting any sort of reply) and he led me to his website. It was there that I signed up for his course and began my real studies. I am not joking, this course hit the target on every level. He teaches you how to record with midi (I had stayed away from midi previously as I thought all good recording was done through audio – a big mistake). He makes excellent recommendations on which DAWs and VSTs to use (I didn’t even know what DAW or VST was prior to this course, nor why we’d use it), which reverb/equalizing software to buy, and most importantly, how to use it all. Like I said, I went through the first half of the course (twice) which covered everything up through the sound layering portion. I specifically stopped at that time so I could become more proficient on the stuff I had already gone through. I was a guy who probably spent the better part of a year searching the web, watching YouTube videos, and asking really stupid questions, just trying to figure out how to get started. I couldn’t find all the information in one centralized location. Until I stumbled upon Jacob. I am so incredibly grateful he took the time to create this course. I’ve learned so much in such a small amount of time. He’s also been very gracious with regard to answering questions and clarifying points that I didn’t understand during the videos. Particularly with software recommendations. If you are at all interested in learning how to record in a professional manner, this is the course for you. I cannot emphasize enough how much I’ve gotten out of it. I am confident by the time I’ve completed everything I will be intelligent enough to do this stuff on my own. It’s really not rocket science once you have the recipe. Thank you, Jacob. I appreciate you very much.
